Job summary

ECS Group of Companies is seeking an Environmental Staff Project Manager to join our Chesapeake, VA team. You will support environmental projects with field work, reporting, and coordination, developing ownership of tasks, client relationships, budgets, and schedules under senior guidance.

You will collaborate with project teams, manage multiple tasks, prepare proposals and cost estimates, and mentor field staff while delivering professional client service in line with ECS core values.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Natural/Environmental Science, Geology, or related field.
• 0 years of related experience required.
• A professional license is not required but helpful for career progression.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with project teams on environmental projects.
• Attends project meetings and assists with issues resolution.
• Develops relationships with clients through project interactions.
• Maintains regular communication with clients and stakeholders.
• Assists with budgets, change orders, and invoicing.
• Schedules and oversees field staff and technicians.
• Prepares environmental reports and technical analyses.
• Coordinates field and office activities for project execution.
