Job summary

The Cadmus Group LLC is seeking an Environmental Project Manager to lead multi-disciplinary teams delivering drinking water programs and regulatory guidance under SDWA. You’ll coordinate schedules, budgets, and client relationships to ensure high-quality, compliant outcomes.

You will mentor junior staff, support proposal development, and work with EPA/state partners to implement new drinking water regulations across projects and contracts.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of experience in environmental or drinking water projects, with 3–5 years on federal/state contracts.
• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Public Policy, Water Resources, or related field.
• Experience supporting drinking water programs and familiarity with SDWA/NPDWRs.
• Experience managing complex, cross-functional projects for EPA or state agencies.
• Strong scheduling, budgeting, risk management, QA, and status reporting skills.
• Ability to translate regulatory/technical information for diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate multidisciplinary teams delivering technical, regulatory, and data-driven solutions for drinking water programs and contracts.
• Collaborate with EPA, state agencies, and internal teams to implement new regulations.
• Oversee end-to-end task order activities with integrated schedules, milestones, and timelines.
• Lead project management processes, prioritization, and dependency management across workstreams.
• Balance scope, schedule, and quality to ensure compliant implementation of SDWA rules.
• Mentor early-career professionals and support business development efforts.
