Job summary

Stratus Team LLC is seeking a Project Manager for the Environmental team in Wilkesboro, NC to manage environmental engineering projects from initiation to delivery. The role focuses on technical delivery, budget compliance, and client satisfaction while identifying opportunities for project growth.

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering or related field and 5+ years in A/E or consulting. PMP or equivalent training is preferred; Master’s degree is a plus.

• 5+ years of project experience in A/E or consulting environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage scope, budget, and schedule for assigned projects.

• Develop project proposals, cost estimates, and work plans.

The Role

Stratus is looking to hire a Project Manager for our Environmental team. Responsible for managing environmental engineering projects within a defined market sector. Ensures technical delivery, budget compliance, and client satisfaction while identifying opportunities for project growth.

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Science or related field.
• 5+years of project experience in A/E or consulting environment.

Preferred

• Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering.
• PMP certification or equivalent project management training.
• Experience managing projects for public agencies or private sector clients in environmental markets.
