In the role of Environmental Project Manager, we'll count on you to:



  • Plan and manage all aspects of small to medium single-discipline projects or large, routine projects including preparing scopes, budgets and schedules

  • Manage the following work elements: day-to-day communication (verbal and written) with the client, support and advise junior environmental scientists, engineers and technical staff, write and review reports and technical memos, coordinate with subconsultants, keep project on schedule and within budget, and keep client satisfied

  • Coordinate workload through entire project development

  • Work with Business/Accounting Manager or Project Controller and Department Manager for project reviews and with company management as needed

  • Must have the ability to interact with various design teams and agencies, as well as have excellent organizational, project management and communication skills

  • Work as a key member of a highway/roadway design team to provide support to verify water quality permit compliance and regulatory requirements for moderate to large projects and work independently.

  • Prepare and oversee the development of water quality assessment reports, stormwater data reports, and assist in development of regulatory permits such as the Section 404, 401, and 408 permits.

  • Establish client relations, and be involved with marketing, contractual, design and production meetings

  • Perform other duties as needed





Preferred Qualifications



  • Professional licensure/certification

  • PMP certification

  • Qualified Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan Developer (QSD) or Qualified Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan Practitioner (QSP) Certification

  • Proficient in coordinating and meeting water quality regulatory requirements and permitting requirements



Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in related field
  • 7 years related experience
  • A minimum of 2 years project management experience
  • Must have the ability to interact with various design teams, have excellent organizational, project management and communication (both written and verbal) skills
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
