Job summary

Satori Group is seeking an experienced Environmental Project Manager to join its Remediation Division. This role oversees hazardous materials remediation projects, manages field personnel, and ensures regulatory compliance, budgets, and schedules.

The position blends office work with site visits and requires strong client relationships. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in hazardous materials work (asbestos, lead, mold) and 3+ years in project management within environmental or construction

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in environmental sciences, construction management, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience handling hazardous materials such as asbestos, lead, or mold.
  • 3+ years of project management in environmental or construction industries.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and DOT regulations.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office software.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily field remediation operations and project activities.
  • Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Manage required project inventory and equipment coordination.
  • Maintain compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT, and other environmental and safety regulations to promote a safety-first culture.
  • Lead project bidding efforts and assist with budgeting and post-project cost analysis.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor project progress, safety, and compliance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve field and project-related issues.
  • Support business development efforts by maintaining client relationships and providing technical expertise for proposals and project planning.

The Role:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Environmental Project Manager to join our Remediation Division. This position is responsible for estimating, overseeing hazardous materials remediation projects, managing field personnel, ensuring regulatory compliance, maintaining project budgets and scheduling. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, combining office work with periodic visits to project sites. Experience estimating asbestos, lead, mold, and hazardous materials remediation projects is preferred. The successful candidate will be organized, safety-focused, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously while building strong, lasting relationships with clients, field crews, and internal teams.

Job Type: Full-time, in-office, exempt

  • Salary: $120,000–$135,000+, depending on experience (DOE)

Hours:

Primarily Monday–Friday. Additional hours, regional travel, and field support may be required depending on project needs.

  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Microsoft Office software.
  • Valid driver’s license and flexibility to travel as needed.
