Verdantas invites you to join a team redefining environmental consulting and sustainable engineering. This role leads environmental and oil/gas projects from scoping to completion, ensuring quality, schedule, and budget performance.

You will oversee Phase II ESAs, samples, and regulatory approvals, while mentoring junior staff and supporting business development. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in Environmental Science, Geology, or Engineering, with 5+ years in environmental consulting and 2+

Formación

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of environmental consulting experience.
  • 2+ years of project management experience.
  • Knowledge of oil and gas industry standards, preference with orphan well experience.
  • Knowledge of civil engineering construction projects and the ability to collaborate with engineers, contractors, clients, and regulatory agencies.
  • Knowledge of Ohio VAP, and BUSTR; understanding of RCRA, CERCLA, TSCA.

What You’ll Do
  • Manage environmental and oil/gas projects from scoping through completion, ensuring quality, schedule, and budget performance.
  • Oversee and conduct Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs).
  • Direct soil, groundwater, surface water, sediment, soil vapor, and stormwater sampling.
  • Prepare technical reports, permits, and regulatory approvals.
  • Serve as a key client contact and mentor junior staff.
  • Support business development and proposal efforts.
  • Regulatory-facing expertise and leadership, preferably with Ohio EPA and ODNR.
  • Experience with Ohio VAP, RCRA, CERCLA, TSCA, and BUSTR frameworks Phase II ESA leadership, environmental sampling, and compliance-driven project work Mentorship, staff supervision, and project/program oversight elements layered into responsibilities
What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years of environmental consulting experience
  • 2+ years of project management experience
  • Knowledge of oil and gas industry standards, preference with orphan well experience.
  • Knowledge of civil engineering construction projects and the ability to collaborate effectively with engineers, contractors, clients, and regulatory agencies throughout project execution.
  • Knowledge of Ohio VAP, and BUSTR with an understanding of RCRA, CERCLA, TSCA Strong communication and technical writing skills OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER preferred

Salary Range: The starting salary range for this position is $100,000 per year, with final compensation determined based on qualifications, experience, and certifications.
