AECOM is actively seeking a Environmental Project Coordinator for our Denver or Ft. Collins, CO office.

This role supports a Project Manager in planning, preparing and executing environmental investigation and remediation work for upstream oil and gas clients in Colorado, with a preference for a hybrid work model. The successful candidate will manage project objectives, mentor staff, oversee budgets and schedules, and communicate progress to stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • BS in engineering, geology, environmental science, or a related field.
  • Two+ years of site investigation, remediation, project management and business development experience.
  • Successful candidate will be required to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

  • Understands site investigation and remediation techniques to drive solutions for our clients.
  • Manage projects and establish project-specific objectives under the Project Manager.
  • Provide management and guidance to staff, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Mentor and direct junior and/or field staff.
  • Oversee delivery of projects in accordance with specifications, budget, and schedule.
  • Define project scope and objectives.
  • Oversee all phases of projects and report progress to stakeholders.
