Job summary

Soundview Consultants, a Trinity Consultants team, is an environmental firm serving the Puget Sound region. We seek an Environmental Project Coordinator to support project logistics, permitting, reporting, and fieldwork, with growth toward project management or technical roles.

Responsibilities include staffing coordination, field mobilization, and producing wetland/shoreline assessments and permits. Work closely with regulatory agencies and clients in a collaborative, values-driven team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required in a related environmental field.
  • 1–4 years of related professional experience.
  • 2–4 relevant certifications or training preferred, including wetland methods.
  • Additional training or volunteer experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of project management, permitting, or environmental planning.
  • Ability to reprioritize tasks and communicate delays.
  • Ability to work well with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Field and office work capability; learn new systems like Deltek Vantagepoint, GIS, Smartsheet.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate project staffing by reviewing scopes and assigning personnel.
  • Coordinate personnel, equipment, PPE, and site access; liaise with clients.
  • Monitor status and communicate schedule or scope changes.
  • Prepare wetland, shoreline, habitat reports and permit docs.
  • Submit and track permit applications; maintain project records.
  • Conduct wetland delineations and related field investigations with increasing responsibility.
  • Provide cross-functional operational support and scheduling assistance.
  • Adhere to health, safety, and quality standards; assist as needed.
