Water and Science Administration, Compliance Program, Enforcement Division

The Environmental Program Manager I will serve as Section Head in the Water and Science Administration, Enforcement Division, overseeing statewide programs related to inspections, investigations, and sampling to ensure compliance with water pollution laws and regulations. This role involves establishing policies, supervising professional and technical staff, and managing compliance activities. The incumbent will also coordinate with various agencies, officials, and stakeholders, manage sensitive issues, and participate in meetings with citizens and violators. The position requires site inspections, physical demands such as lifting and climbing, and the use of protective equipment.

Must possess a valid motor vehicle operator’s license in Maryland.
