Job summary

PacifiCorp is seeking an Environmental Manager to oversee regulatory compliance for transmission and distribution projects in the Salt Lake City area. You will manage a multidisciplinary environmental lands team and coordinate closely with T&D operations to ensure adherence to permits and company procedures.

Ideal candidates have a strong NEPA background, proven leadership, and extensive experience with federal and state environmental regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Natural Resource Management, or related field.
• 7+ years in environmental/natural resources, preferably energy and permitting.
• 3+ years direct people management.
• Experience with federal/state agencies and NEPA.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental lands team, overseeing permitting and compliance for transmission projects.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and permits with T&D operations.
• Communicate with T&D, environmental team, and contractors.
• Review and implement permit conditions and procedures.
• Provide leadership to ensure permits are in place and compliance with regulations.
• Oversee work to meet schedule and budget and maintain safety standards.
