The Role

• Develop, implement, and maintain environmental compliance programs, policies, and procedures to meet regulatory and operational requirements.
• Lead environmental training and awareness initiatives while partnering with plant leadership, supervisors, and employees to strengthen compliance across the facility.
• Manage environmental permits, audits, inspections, compliance reporting, and corrective action programs to ensure ongoing regulatory adherence.
• Oversee the collection, analysis, and submission of environmental data and regulatory filings while maintaining accurate documentation and records.
• Identify environmental risks, monitor program effectiveness, and provide recommendations to leadership on compliance strategies and continuous improvement initiatives.

The Candidate

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of environmental compliance, EHS, or environmental program management experience within a manufacturing, industrial, or production environment.
• Strong understanding of environmental regulations and compliance programs, including air emissions, water quality, waste management, RCRA, EPA regulations, and permitting requirements.
• Experience managing environmental audits, compliance reporting, corrective action programs, and cross-functional improvement initiatives.
• Strong communication, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence teams and drive compliance across all levels of the organization
