Job summary

The Ravin Group in Greenfield, IN seeks a President - Environmental Services to lead its environmental practice. The role focuses on growth, client relationships, technical direction, and team leadership of the division.

Ideal candidate has a strong environmental consulting background, proven leadership, and experience guiding budgets, projects, and business development. In-person leadership for nationwide engagements will be required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Geological Engineering, or related field.
  • 15+ years of environmental consulting experience preferred.
  • Previous leadership experience within an environmental consulting practice, department, or business unit.
  • Experience managing budgets, profitability, staffing, and project performance.
  • Proven client relationship and business development experience.
  • Strong understanding of environmental regulations, investigation, remediation, and compliance.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
  • Professional credential such as PG/LPG, PE, or CHMM preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide overall leadership and strategic direction for the environmental practice.
  • Manage division performance, including revenue, profitability, budgets, backlog, staffing, and project performance.
  • Lead business development efforts and maintain relationships with existing and prospective clients.
  • Identify opportunities to expand environmental services, clients, and markets.
  • Oversee environmental projects involving investigation, remediation, regulatory compliance, and due diligence.
  • Provide technical and strategic guidance on complex environmental projects.
  • Maintain relationships with regulatory agencies, including IDEM and other applicable state and federal agencies.
  • Review major proposals, scopes, budgets, contracts, and project strategies.
  • Recruit, mentor, and develop environmental project managers, scientists, geologists, engineers, and technical staff.
  • Promote collaboration with the firm's geotechnical engineering and construction materials testing groups.
  • Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, within budget, and in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Represent the company with clients, industry organizations, and business partners.

Our client is a growing environmental and engineering consulting firm is seeking an experienced President – Environmental Services to lead its environmental practice.
