Zusammenfassung

Conservation Colorado is seeking a Legislative Intern to support planning our annual legislative reception, track bills, draft and review letters stating the organization’s position on legislation, and provide general support to our Government Affairs Team throughout the internship.

The internship is part-time (10 hours per week) with a hybrid schedule based on work and school commitments, running January through mid-May 2027.

• Detail oriented and well organized.
• Commitment to racial equity and advancement of environmental justice principles.
• Ability to multi-task and manage short-term and long-term deadlines.
• Strong analytical skills for data management.
• Interest in environmental policy.

Aufgaben

• Plan the annual legislative reception event.
• Track status and progress of legislation.
• Draft and review letters describing the organization’s position on priority legislation.
• Attend and/or listen to committee and House/Senate floor discussions of bills and partner meetings.
• Perform administrative tasks and duties as required.
