Mannik Smith Group is seeking an Environmental Planning and Permitting Lead in Murfreesboro, TN. You will lead business development, manage projects and guide a team in the environmental planning and permitting domain.

The role requires 10+ years in NEPA/permitting, strong regulatory knowledge, and ability to collaborate with agencies and clients to deliver compliant projects. Hybrid work options and competitive compensation offered.

Competenze

• BS/MS in Civil Engineering, Biology, Archaeology, Geology, Natural or Environmental Sciences or related field.
• 10+ years of professional experience in NEPA and/or permitting.
• Ability to review environmental documents for technical and regulatory completeness.
• Demonstrated knowledge of NEPA levels and environmental permitting processes.

Mansioni

• Lead the business development, operations and production effort for Environmental Planning and Permitting market.
• Prepare fee proposals, scope of work, budgeting and invoicing.
• Assist in development of NEPA documents and permit applications.
• Guide staff in environmental planning and permitting and manage client relations.
• Ensure projects comply with local, state and federal guidelines and codes.
• Hire and mentor junior staff; act as contact for Environmental Planning & Permitting.
• Develop project work plans, manage projects and client relationships.
