Job summary

HNTB is seeking an Environmental Planning Intern for Summer 2027 in Houston, TX. You will assist departments with basic tasks in Science, Planning, and Technology under close supervision.

This internship is usually on a part-time, temporary, or co-op basis. Relocation and housing are not provided for this position. You will gain exposure to infrastructure planning and transportation projects within a leading national firm.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a related undergraduate or graduate program.
• Pursuing Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Planning, or related field.
• High interest in civil engineering and transportation.

Responsibilities

• Assists project team members with various support tasks.
• Conducts basic research and data collection.
• Maintains records, collections and files related to specific projects.
• Assist in the development of graphics, presentation materials and reports.
• Performs other duties assigned.
