What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Produce visual impact assessments (VIA) and conduct site photography and technical writing
- Coordinate tasks and contributions from a diverse technical team
- Travel for project site visits, typically no more than 10-20% of the time
- Support general planning and permitting for power generation and transmission projects
- Perform desktop surveys and critical issues analyses as needed

What is Required (Qualifications):
- 3 to 5 years of experience in producing or supporting visual impact assessments
- Strong research, analysis, and reporting abilities
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects while paying attention to detail
- Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with VIAs under the National Environmental Policy Act and state environmental reviews
- Familiarity with federal assessment methods for visual effects
- Training in landscape photography and simulation/visualization tools like Autodesk 3ds Max and Adobe Creative Cloud
- Experience with shadow flicker analyses using WindPro for wind energy projects
