Job summary

WSP USA seeks an Environmental Permitting Project Manager to support its Natural Resources and Environmental Planning practice across Texas, Louisiana and Oklahoma. This role focuses on permitting strategy, environmental compliance and regulatory coordination for energy, oil & gas, utilities, transportation and infrastructure projects.

You will manage projects, mentor junior staff, and collaborate with biologists, engineers and regulatory specialists to deliver compliant environmental solutions

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biology, Environmental Science, or related field required.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in natural resources or environmental permitting.
• Experience with TX/LA/OK permitting and regulatory frameworks is preferred.
• Strong technical writing and client communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental permitting and natural resource projects across Texas, Louisiana and Oklahoma.
• Develop permitting strategies and regulatory pathways for infrastructure, energy, utilities, transportation, and industrial projects.
• Prepare and review permit applications, technical reports, environmental assessments, and supporting documentation.
• Develop staffing plans and manage multidisciplinary teams, teaming partners, and subcontractors.
• Coordinate with federal, state, and local regulatory agencies to facilitate project approvals.
• Mentor and support junior environmental staff and contribute to business development.
