Job summary

WSP is seeking an Environmental Permitting Project Manager to lead permitting strategy, regulatory coordination, and environmental planning across Texas, Louisiana, and Oklahoma. You will manage environmental studies, coordinate with agencies, and guide multidisciplinary teams through permitting and compliance throughout project lifecycles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biology, Environmental Science, Natural Resources, Environmental Planning, Ecology, Geography, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental permitting strategies and coordinate regulatory pathways for infrastructure, energy, utilities and transportation projects.
• Prepare and review permit applications, technical reports and environmental assessments.
• Manage multidisciplinary teams, staffing plans, budgets and client communication to meet project goals.
• Mentor junior staff and support business development to convert delivery into repeat work.
• Coordinate with federal, state, and local agencies to obtain project approvals.
• Ensure safety culture and compliance with company standards throughout projects.
