Job summary

Bechtel is seeking an environmental engineering professional to lead the development of environmental systems, applications, and procedures for a project. You will oversee investigations, conduct complex studies, and prepare remediation plans to minimize environmental impact.

This part-time telework role requires at least three days in-person per week at the assigned office or project, with weekly schedules determined in coordination with leadership.

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor's degree and 5-8 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with environmental impact studies and remediation planning.
• Strong regulatory knowledge and ability to work with clients and regulators.

Responsibilities

• Plans, schedules, or coordinates detailed phases of environmental engineering work.
• Coordinates environmental engineering efforts with client, vendors, and contractors.
• Conducts environmental studies and prepares impact reports for projects.
• Prepares remediation work plans and reports.
• Researches new technologies to improve environmental impact of projects.
• Monitors pollution prevention activities and designs treatment processes.
• Works with health experts to ensure a safe work environment.
• Provides technical assistance to environmental staff and liaises with regulators.
• Ensures compliance with government regulations and new policies.
• Guides other environmental personnel on specific tasks.
