Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in microbiology, biological sciences or related field.
• Three to five years of progressive lab/environmental monitoring responsibility in pharma manufacturing or equivalent.
• Experience in aseptic processing is preferred.
• Knowledge of quality control testing methods, validation techniques and microbiology concepts.
• Ability to interpret data using analytical skills in pharmaceutical applications.
• Supervisory experience preferred; leadership role experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily activities of Environmental Monitoring technicians.
• Ensure timely completion of environmental sampling and site utility sampling.
• Maintain compliance with cGMP and Indivior specifications.
• Provide guidance during audits and oversee EM data review and reporting.
• Lead training for new staff and gowning qualifications.
• Develop and update SOPs and monitoring programs.
