Job summary

Simtra BioPharma Solutions in Bloomington, IN is seeking an entry-level Quality Technician for Environmental Monitoring on the 2nd shift. You will perform aseptic sampling, document results in LIMS, and support QA operations to maintain compliance with SOPs and regulatory standards.

The role reports to a QA Line Operations Supervisor and requires basic lab skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Prior experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook and the ability to use enterprise software (e.g., D365, Veeva, LabWare).

Responsibilities

• Samples controlled environments per the sampling Master Plan utilizing aseptic technique.
• Documents and processes samples in a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
• Performs real time risk assessments of the manufacturing areas and process.
• Maintains data integrity and ensures compliance with SOPs and worldwide regulatory requirements.
• Recognizes and elevates non-conformances.
