Job summary

Grifols Shared Services North America, Inc. is seeking personnel to perform environmental monitoring in a GMP/GLP laboratory environment in Clayton, NC.

The role requires adherence to safety protocols and quality systems while handling routine and non-routine laboratory tasks. The position involves shift work (12-hour shifts) with training on first shift for 3–6 months, and requires a degree in medical technology/clinical laboratory science or related fields with relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Assistant level requires an AA or BS in medical technology/clinical laboratory science, or a BS in biology, chemistry or related field, plus 6–12 months of lab experience.
• Associate level requires an AA or BS in medical technology/clinical laboratory science, or a BS in biology, chemistry or related field, plus 2 years of lab experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform environmental monitoring on classified areas and utility systems.
• Collect and/or test environmental, utility, raw material, or validation samples using lab-specific methods.
• Follow GMP and GLP requirements and work safely, accurately, and efficiently.
• Participate in projects such as standard and control preparations, method validations, and comparison studies.
