Job Title: Environmental Monitoring Core Technician I (Day/Night Shift)

Location: Houston, TX, USA, 77047

Duration: 6 months

Pay rate: $26.80/hr on W2

Shift Details:

• 12-hour rotating shifts: 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on, 3 days off
• Night shift: 7 pm - 7:30 am
• Day shift: 7 am - 7:30 pm
• MUST BE AVAILABLE TO TRAIN ON THE FIRST SHIFT - 5 days/week for the first 4-6 weeks

Job Summary:

• The Environmental Monitoring (EM) Core Technician will conduct EM tasks supporting production and aseptic processing of clinical-grade products. Responsibilities include maintaining, stocking, and setting up clean room environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in GMP production of viral therapies through Environmental Monitoring processes
• Perform cell culture and product purification using aseptic techniques
• Coordinate EM equipment needs with QC EM team for manufacturing
• Draft, complete, and revise manufacturing documents including Batch Records and EM forms
• Prepare buffers and components, operate steam autoclave
• Operate manual, semi-automated, and automated equipment for clinical production
• Operate Environmental Monitoring equipment such as Solairs, ApexZ50, active counters

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences preferred; Basic Lab experience with a Bachelor's or Intermediate Lab experience within a cGMP clinical environment; High School Diploma acceptable
• Lab experience preferred
• 1-3 Years of relevant experience
