Job summary

Georgia-Pacific's Anchor Packaging Operations seeks an Environmental Manager to lead environmental compliance and stewardship across Jonesboro, Paragould, and Marmaduke, AR. The role will be based at one site and partner with front-line leadership to advance environmental stewardship and risk controls.

You will develop and optimize systems to address environmental risk, mentor production teams, and ensure regulatory adherence while promoting a principled-based culture across the organization.

Qualifications

• Environmental experience in manufacturing or industrial settings.
• Experience applying environmental management systems.
• Experience developing regulatory compliance programs and training.

Responsibilities

• Provide influential leadership to support PBM culture and compliance ownership.
• Partner with site leadership to achieve zero significant environmental incidents.
• Lead environmental programs for air, water, waste permits and regulatory obligations.
• Communicate environmental vision, strategies and performance to stakeholders.
• Develop objectives and measures to reduce facility risk.
• Identify improvement opportunities and implement corrective actions.
