Job summary

TRC Talent Solutions is partnering with a manufacturer to recruit an Environmental Manager to oversee environmental programs and regulatory compliance at a production facility.

You will ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations (air, water, waste), manage permits, prepare reports, and lead audits. The role requires 5+ years in environmental management in manufacturing and a bachelor’s degree.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• Minimum 5 years of environmental management experience in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of major environmental regulations (Clean Air Act, RCRA, EPCRA, CWA).

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations related to air, water, waste, and emissions.
• Manage environmental permits, including Title V air permits and other regulatory requirements.
• Maintain compliance with EPA, state, and local environmental agencies.
• Prepare, track, and submit required environmental reports and documentation.
• Monitor emissions and environmental performance to ensure permit compliance.
• Manage landfill and solid waste programs.
• Update environmental policies and procedures as regulations change.
• Coordinate environmental audits, inspections, and corrective actions.
• Develop and deliver environmental training for employees and supervisors.
• Communicate environmental compliance status and activities to plant leadership.

  • Clean Water Act (NPDES)
• Experience managing environmental compliance programs and regulatory interactions.
• Heavy industrial manufacturing experience preferred.
