Job summary

Community Health Of South Florida Inc in Miami, FL, is seeking an Environmental/Maintenance Shift Supervisor to oversee environmental services during an eight-hour shift and ensure cleanliness and equipment standards are met.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, at least two years of custodial experience with supervisory knowledge, a valid Florida driver's license, and CPR certification. This exempt role offers 40 hours weekly, with day and night shifts as needed.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Plans, organizes and supervises the work of subordinates to ensure full performance.
• Supervise the productivity of Environmental staff.
• Ensure all equipment is clean and in good repair.
• Provide supplies and equipment needed for staff to complete work.
• Perform spot checks on vents, high ledges, ceilings and fixtures to ensure cleanliness.
• Coordinate inventory management, storage and housekeeping.
• Train environmental workers per Policies and Procedures.
• Evaluate supply and maintenance practices at user level.
• Maintain liaison with affected programs and activities.
• Perform duties of an Environmental Worker as assigned.
• Follow Health Center Exposure Control Plans and Bloodborne/Airborne Pathogens policies.
• Demonstrate safe use of protective barrier equipment.
• Complete work assignments on time and accept assignments.
• Adhere to Confidentiality/HIPAA policies.
• Reports to work on time with minimal absenteeism.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
