Job summary

Natures Image is seeking a Driver & Crew Member to join our operations team, with duties including vehicle inspection, safe operation of equipment, and supporting landscaping and hydroseeding tasks. Must maintain a valid California driver’s license and strong safety practices.

The role emphasizes physical work, ability to follow instructions, and flexibility to work in various landscaping and construction tasks as part of a growing environmental services team.

Qualifications

• E-Verify, Background check, drug screen, & physical
• Valid California driver's license and maintain excellent driving record
• Know and understand current driving regulations and observe all safety laws and regulations
• Abide by and follow safety and emergency procedures. Act quickly and calmly in emergency situations
• Experience in commercial landscaping or construction preferred
• Experience in operating power equipment a plus
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to listen, understand, and follow directions
• Ability to work in a variety of roles
• Work in a professional manner
• Ability to work independently

Responsibilities

• Vehicle responsibilities include: Inspects truck before and after trips, submit inspection reports
• Safe operation of all company driven equipment
• Report mechanical failures or breakdowns to Foreman immediately
• Follow all safety and corporate policies as outlined by the company
• To perform work in a safe and efficient manner
• Cleans and prepares specific areas of jobsite as assigned. This may include but not limited to digging trenches, clearing weeds, cleaning up rubble, debris, and trash
• General duties performed include landscaping, irrigation, maintenance, hydroseeding, vegetation removal and installations
• Use of hand tools and small equipment when required
• Use of line trimmer, hedger, weedwhacker, backpack sprayer, chainsaw, and other equipment when required
• Responsible for safe, efficient and quality completion of tasks assigned by supervisor
• Wears personal protective equipment at all times and follows all safety procedures at all times
• Reports any issues to supervisor or higher-level employee
• Reports equipment in need of repair to supervisor
• Performs other related duties as assigned
