Job summary

Pace® is seeking a Lab Technician to join the Metals Prep department in our environmental testing laboratory. You will support sample-related activities, preserve and prepare specimens, and help maintain critical documentation, with comprehensive training provided to grow your career in laboratory sciences.

This full-time role follows a Tuesday–Saturday schedule (7:00 AM–3:30 PM) with benefits and career development opportunities as part of Pace's mission to advance environmental safety and

Qualifications

• Associates degree or Bachelor's degree in a STEM field preferred; High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to work in a lab or office setting, remain standing for long periods while conducting tests, work around strong smells, and wear PPE while handling samples (lab coat, safety glasses, gloves — provided by Pace).
• Experience in a laboratory or environmental testing setting is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support all laboratory sample-related activities, including preservation, preparation, processing, and maintenance.
• Maintain and update appropriate documentation and databases.
• Participate in training on fundamental lab support policies, programs, and practices.
