Qualifications

• NELAC or highly regulated lab experience preferred (noted).
• Experience in the Sample Receiving department of a high-volume laboratory.
• Wet chemistry experience (pH, ammonia, alkalinity, turbidity, etc.).
• Handling and preparing environmental samples per EPA/ASTM protocols.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with diverse teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data management software.
• Understanding of OSHA laboratory safety requirements under 40 CFR 1910.

Responsibilities

• Work safely and identify/correct unsafe conditions.
• Receive and log-in samples into LIMS for analysis.
• Prepare inorganic/organic samples for EPA/ASTM analysis.
• Order and maintain sample bottles/containers for environmental sampling.
• Perform routine laboratory housekeeping and support analysts.
• Handle miscellaneous admin tasks like inventory and data entry peer review.
• Assist customers with sample container orders and coordination.
