Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a science field or related work through education/internships.
• Entry-level position with lab exposure is acceptable.
• Basic lab skills and safety awareness are required.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare environmental samples for analysis, including logging, weighing, spiking, and preparation.
• Perform laboratory testing using standard analytical techniques and equipment.
• Receive, inspect, log, and process customer samples.
• Prepare sample kits and support shipping/receiving activities.
• Maintain accurate laboratory records and environmental documentation.
• Follow laboratory safety procedures and support environmental compliance initiatives.
• Assist with emergency response procedures for environmental incidents and spills.
• Collaborate with staff to ensure accurate and timely test results.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology, Environmental Science, or related field
