Job summary

Pace is seeking a Lab Technician to join the sample preparation department in our environmental testing laboratory. You will prepare water and soil samples for analysis and follow established procedures, working with solvents and chemicals as needed.

You will maintain documentation and assist scientists while wearing PPE. This role requires a high school diploma and a willingness to work Tuesday through Saturday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in a laboratory or environmental testing setting preferred.
• Ability to work in a lab, stand for long periods, and wear PPE.

Responsibilities

• Support scientists by preparing water and soil samples before analysis.
• Follow established sample preparation procedures.
• Work with solvents and chemicals for sample preparation.
• Maintain and update documentation and databases.
