Job summary

Pace in Minneapolis seeks a Scientist to join our environmental testing laboratory. You will conduct hands-on analysis within our laboratories, ensuring the integrity and quality of environmental data that impacts communities and ecosystems.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related STEM field, with on-the-job training provided. You will work in a lab setting, handling PPE and standard safety practices every day.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or other STEM fields, or equivalent education and experience.
• Willingness to be trained by Pace.
• Ability to work in a laboratory environment and wear PPE.

Responsibilities

• Work with instruments such as GC, HPLC, ICP and more.
• Analyze air, water, and soil samples using established chemistry and biochemistry methods.
• Review and interpret the results from the sample analysis.
• Document procedures, observations, and results to maintain laboratory records.
• Clean, maintain, and calibrate laboratory instruments and equipment.
