Job summary

Pace® is seeking a Scientist I to join our environmental testing laboratory in Mobile, AL. You’ll perform, support, and oversee analysis of air, water, and soil samples using established chemistry and biochemistry methods, ensuring data integrity and high-quality records.

We require a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related STEM field. You’ll work in a lab setting, wear PPE, and contribute to meaningful environmental science work with training provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or other STEM field (or equivalent by education, training, and experience).
• Ability to work in a laboratory environment, including PPE and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform, support, and oversee the analysis of air, water, and soil samples using established chemistry and biochemistry methods.
• Clean, maintain, and calibrate laboratory instruments and equipment.
• Document procedures, observations, and results to maintain high-quality laboratory records.
