Job summary

Pace® Analytical Services is seeking a Scientist I to join our environmental testing lab in Mobile, AL. You will perform hands-on analysis of air, water, and soil samples, ensuring accurate environmental data used to safeguard communities.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s in Chemistry or related STEM field; training provided. You will work Monday–Friday with some weekend hours and wear PPE as required. Pace® offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or other STEM field; training provided.
• Ability to work effectively in a laboratory environment, including standing for long periods and handling odors; PPE required.

Responsibilities

• Perform, support, and oversee the analysis of air, water, and soil samples using established chemistry and biochemistry methods.
• Clean, maintain, and calibrate laboratory instruments and equipment.
• Document procedures, observations, and results to ensure high-quality records.
