Job summary

Pace Analytical Services LLC in West Virginia is seeking a Scientist I to perform hands-on analysis in our environmental testing laboratory. You will help ensure the integrity and quality of environmental data impacting communities and ecosystems.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related STEM field, with lab experience and the ability to work in a facility with PPE provided by Pace. Competitive benefits and a full-time schedule are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or other STEM field is required or equivalent education/experience.
• Hands-on lab experience and ability to work in a controlled lab environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform, support, and oversee the analysis of air, water, and soil samples using established chemistry and biochemistry methods.
• Clean, maintain, and calibrate laboratory instruments and equipment.
• Accurately document procedures, observations, and results to maintain high-quality laboratory records.
