A.O. Smith Corp. is seeking a Lab Analyst to prepare and analyze environmental samples in accordance with EPA regulations and GLP. The role supports accurate, timely lab results while ensuring QA/QC and SOP adherence.

Responsibilities include sample prep, chemical analyses, reagent and standard preparation, data reporting, and instrument maintenance. Onsite position in Appleton, WI with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in preparing samples and conducting analyses is preferred.
• Knowledge of GLP and QA/QC standards is desirable.

Responsabilités

• Prepare samples using acidification, digestion, aliquoting, and weighing.
• Conduct chemical analyses using approved methods and instrumentation.
• Prepare reagents, standards, and calibration solutions.
• Record, calculate, and report analytical data with documentation of any deviations.
• Perform routine instrument maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Maintain QA/QC, SOP compliance, and GLP.
• Maintain a safe, clean lab environment.
• Operate and develop expertise in GC, GC/MS, Purge and Trap, AA, ICP.
• Support lab tasks under supervision and complete work safely and efficiently.
• Support additional laboratory duties as assigned.
