Job summary

Eurofins Environment Testing America is seeking an Analyst I to prepare and analyze environmental samples using standard techniques in alignment with EPA methods and QA procedures. The role emphasizes GMP/GLP principles, data recording, instrument maintenance, and safe operation of lab equipment including GC, GC-MS, AAS and ICP under supervision.

A BS/BA in chemistry or related field is preferred, with US work authorization required.

Qualifications

• BS or BA in chemistry or related field; 3 years lab experience may substitute for degree.
• Laboratory experience is helpful and production-oriented experience is a plus.
• Reading, writing and speaking skills; problem solving; team participation and time management.

Responsibilities

• Prepare samples using standard techniques and perform chemical analyses.
• Record and report data, including unusual test occurrences, to supervisor.
• Maintain and operate routine instruments and ensure compliance with QA standards.
• Work under close supervision using routine methods and handle glassware.
