Job summary

The ECS Group of Companies is seeking a field technician in Chantilly, VA to monitor environmental projects and support field activities. You will work outdoors in variable conditions, perform site inspections, sampling, and field documentation, and prepare daily reports describing activities.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a related degree (associate to master) in Civil Engineering or Environmental Science.
• Valid driver's license if driving for ECS subsidiary.
• Strong verbal and written communication.

• Knowledge of geotechnical field investigation and testing methods.
• Ability to interpret field data and observations.

What You'll Do

Required Qualifications

• Must be pursuing an Associate, Bachelor, or Master degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, or other degree related to our services
• If driving for or on behalf of any ECS subsidiary, a valid driver's license is required

Military Requirements

• The following US Military ranks would qualify for this position:

The expected pay range for this role and location is $20-$22/hour. The final agreed-upon compensation will be determined based on specific location and other individual qualifications.
