Lindt & Sprüngli invites undergraduates and graduates to join its Lindternship in Stratham, NH for a 12-week program. You will help the decarbonization team develop internal tools to assess scope 3 emissions, focusing on product carbon footprint (PCF) and data flows.
Mentored, with career workshops and networking events to meet the team. During the internship you’ll analyze data, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and build training materials to support decarbonization goals.
In 2023, the Lindt & Sprüngli group announced their approved Science Based Targets initiative (approved by SBTi), with long term (2050) net-zero targets. This announcement was paired with a high-level roadmap to achieving targets. The organization is currently working on emissions reductions actions across all scopes. This internship will focus on helping the Lindt decarbonization team develop and improve upon internal tools used to assess scope 3 emissions reduction potential (ex. product carbon footprint - PCF). These tools are becoming key in enabling teams across operations departments to consider emissions impact in the decision making process, and driving emissions reductions.
Our twelve-week Lindternship program offers hands‑on experience allowing undergraduate and graduate students to gain practical skills and contribute to projects that directly impact our business. During the summer, interns will be paired with a mentor, attend professional career development workshops/sessions and attend networking events to meet additional team members.
Collaborate with various departments to gather insights and inputs, and improve the current product carbon footprint tool Analyze data flows across several data management platforms and make recommendations to improve data flows and insights Improve visualization of carbon impact at the product level, to support teams across the new product development and product change processes Develop training and educational materials on PCF and carbon footprinting to support decarbonization goals Support the EHS team in driving other environmental and carbon impact reductions projects and initiatives
