Interns will help enhance internal tools used to assess scope 3 emissions reductions, focusing on Product Carbon Footprint analytics and data visualization to guide product development decisions.
In 2023, the Lindt & Sprüngli group announced their approved Science Based Targets initiative (approved by SBTi), with long term (2050) net-zero targets. This announcement was paired with a high-level roadmap to achieving targets. The organization is currently working on emissions reductions actions across all scopes. This internship will focus on helping the Lindt decarbonization team develop and improve upon internal tools used to assess scope 3 emissions reduction potential (ex. product carbon footprint - PCF). These tools are becoming key in enabling teams across operations departments to consider emissions impact in the decision making process, and driving emissions reductions.
Our twelve-week Lindternship program offers hands‑on experience allowing undergraduate and graduate students to gain practical skills and contribute to projects that directly impact our business. During the summer, interns will be paired with a mentor, attend professional career development workshops/sessions and attend networking events to meet additional team members.
