Job summary

Heidelberg Materials offers an internship in Irving, TX for students in Environmental Science/Engineering or related fields. You will support environmental and sustainability initiatives across the Southwest Region’s aggregates, ready-mix, and stabilized sand operations.

Responsibilities include environmental monitoring, reporting, planning, and reclamation projects, plus site inspections and data collection related to air, water, and land resources.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a degree in environmental-related field (junior or senior).
  • Passion for environmental protection, sustainability and land use.
  • Strong communication, written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and across departments.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Willingness to work in office and field environments.
