Job summary

Mi-Tech Services, Inc. is seeking a full-time Environmental Inspector for an on-site project in Ozaukee County (SE Wisconsin).

The role involves supporting environmental compliance and monitoring for groundwater, storm water, landfills, and other natural resources while promoting a strong HSEQ culture among employees, vendors, and customers. You will need a Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, 0-2 years of related experience, and a 40-hour HazWoper certification (or ability to obtain).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science (e.g. water resources, natural resource management, soil resources, hydrology, chemistry, geology, etc.).
• 0-2 years of related experience, or equivalent combination.
• Able to walk at least 1/2 mile and work in all weather conditions.
• Experience working around and on a construction site preferred.
• 40-hour HazWoper certification, or the ability to obtain.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Must possess a valid driver license for the type(s) of vehicles which may be driven, and an acceptable driving record as determined by Michels Review Team.

Mi-Tech Services, Inc. has an opening for a full-time on-site Environmental Inspector at a project site in Ozaukee County (SE Wisconsin). An Environmental Technician is responsible for supporting environmental compliance and monitoring efforts related to groundwater, storm water, landfills and other natural resources. Critical for success is the ability to be self-motivated, a good problem solver, detail-oriented, follow pre-established guidelines and instructions, and work independently to meet strict deadlines. An Environmental Inspector will maintain and promote a strong health, safety, environment, and quality (HSEQ) culture for all employees, vendors, subcontractors, and customers to comply with HSEQ policies, procedures, regulations, and continual improvement objectives.
