Description
You will work with cross-functional environmental, operations, procurement, finance, government affairs and legal teams to champion, drive, and coordinate grant projects with partners around the world.You will coordinate with and oversee partners to execute on projects led by external organizations.Manage, track, and present project performance metrics to leadership.You will manage Apple’s environmental grant priorities and strategy.Contribute to publicizing Apple’s progress in achieving environmental objectives.
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience with environmental topics and fundamentals (such as: climate change, sustainable design, policy, waste, land use change, biodiversity, and certification systems).
- Experience working in and building cross-functional teams, resolving issues, building consensus and working towards agreements during the entire project lifecycle and after the initial project phases are complete.
- Experience managing grants or consultant contracts to deliver outstanding results on time and within budget.
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in environmental science, economics/business or other technical/scientific field.

- Ability to build and maintain strong and positive relationship across the organization.
- Experience interacting with interdisciplinary project teams and international partners.
- Able to communicate effectively in a worldwide environment, and to rapidly synthesize and communicate findings to senior leaders.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical information in a concise way to a non-technical audience, and vice versa.
- Ability to manage and organize multiple projects with competing priorities and different timescales (i.e.: checkpoints with long-term goals while completing shorter term goals).
- At least 10 years of relevant experience.
- Advanced degree or equivalent experience in engineering, project management, or management science is a plus.
- Experience with data visualization and data analysis
- Poise when confronted with sudden setbacks
- Ability to make decisions with 80% information
- Creative and analytical problem solver
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $111,400 and $209,900, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
