ICF seeks an Environmental Health Scientist to join our SPHERE team, supporting CDC and ATSDR projects. Qualifikationen

• Master’s degree in environmental science or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years evaluating environmental contamination and site cleanup.
• Minimum 1 year experience with CERCLA/Superfund, RCRA, Brownfields and ATSDR processes.
• U.S. Citizenship required per Federal contract
• Ability to obtain Federal government security clearance
• Ability to travel for approved site visits and meetings

• Analyze environmental sampling and site data from uncontrolled and controlled hazardous waste sites.
• Evaluate data quality and relevance for public health decision-making.
• Assess site-specific public health implications and human exposure potential.
• Develop technically sound responses for health consultations requested by federal, state, and local agencies.
• Assist with development, review, and revision of health assessments and related work products.
• Evaluate proposed site investigation and remediation approaches from an environmental health perspective.
• Synthesize environmental, exposure, and health information into tables, figures, and client-ready narratives.
• Participate in technical assistance site visits, project meetings, and public meetings
