How will you make an impact?

You will be responsible for managing the environmental health & safety programs at the St. Petersburg Bryan Dairy facility and warehouse, covering over 107+ square feet. Your primary duties include planning, coordinating, and implementing all EHS programs to ensure compliance with regulatory and internal standards.

What will you do?

The Senior Environmental Health & Safety Specialist will lead efforts to support our environmental, health, and safety systems through coordination, implementation, improvement, and verification of programs.

1. Manage programs supporting Jabil's environmental and safety goals, including areas such as accidents, emergency response, hazardous communication, radiation safety, industrial trucks, PPE, exposure assessment, job hazard analysis, process safety review, machine guarding, hazardous energy isolation, air and water pollution, waste management, environmental sustainability, hazardous waste, DOT hazardous materials, and other relevant regulations.
2. Maintain recordkeeping systems, conduct trainings, inspections, audits, and lead emergency responses.
3. Implement EHS measures, maintain metrics and KPIs, prepare technical reports, perform sampling and monitoring, and issue permits.
4. Develop and maintain programs to ensure compliance with legal requirements and company policies, including analyzing legal standards, training staff, documenting procedures, maintaining records, and evaluating program effectiveness.
5. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, facilitate government inspections, prepare reports, conduct compliance audits, and develop solutions for environmental and safety concerns.
6. Serve as a technical resource, support unassigned programs, and oversee emergency training and ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 programs.

• High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of demonstrated EHS experience.
• Current OSHA 30-hour certification.
• Hazardous Waste Handler certification or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related software.

• Strong communication, project management, and training skills.
• Ability to analyze data, interpret technical instructions, and manage multiple projects.
