Programs include confined space entry, hazard communication, stormwater compliance, ergonomics, industrial hygiene, emergency preparedness, and other applicable safety and environmental requirements.
  • Environmental & Wastewater Compliance: Support industrial wastewater treatment operations, including neutralization systems, sampling programs, wastewater permit compliance, environmental reporting, and coordination with Ohio EPA requirements. Ohio EPA Wastewater/Water Reclamation Operator Certification (Class A or higher) is a plus.

Maintain accurate EHS documentation, regulatory reports, and records in accordance with established requirements.
  • Safety Culture & Employee Engagement: Collaborate with plant leadership, cross‑functional teams, and the EHS Committee to strengthen employee engagement, promote safe work practices, and support continuous improvement in environmental, health, and safety performance.

  • Ability to independently manage multiple priorities, maintain accurate records, and complete assignments in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to safely operate powered industrial trucks, including forklifts, or obtain company certification.
  • Flexibility to support operational needs across multiple shifts, including occasional shift transitions for training, safety meetings, and employee engagement activities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in chemical manufacturing or a similar industrial environment involving hazardous materials.
  • Experience supporting or overseeing industrial wastewater treatment operations, including neutralization, sampling, permit compliance, and environmental reporting.
