where you will be responsible for advocating for the safety of all TURBOCAM employees, guests, and contractors by ensuring that a self-sustaining and self-correcting system is in place to control risks. Through training, relationships, and follow-through, he/she will be expected to foster a positive safety culture where policies and programs are based on data and participatory decision-making.
Supervisor Specific Responsibilities:
- Consciously create and maintain a workplace culture that is consistent with our Mission and values.
- Delegate responsibility while providing clear expectations, consistent accountability, and regular feedback.
- Lead, mentor, and develop employees to meet expectations by growing in character and competence.
- Utilize available resources to enable employees to plan and achieve their developmental goals while contributing to TURBOCAM's success.
- Manage people, resources, and budgets to achieve objectives.
- Understand, promote, and implement all program initiatives including Safety, Quality, and Performance Management.

- Empowering safety teams and program champions to implement safety principles and policies.
- Coaching managers, supervisors, and safety personnel using available resources.
- Analyzing data to improve programs, eliminate risks, and achieve operational excellence.
- Setting developmental priorities in consultation with leadership.
- Coordinating responses to injuries and incidents to maximize learning.
- Reviewing incidents annually to reduce risks.
- Promoting communication across business units for safety sharing.
- Building relationships with international safety personnel to foster a safety culture.
- Nurturing a culture that responds positively to non-conforming behaviors.
- Overseeing overall safety program effectiveness and supervising safety staff.
- Assisting in property protection efforts.
- Maintaining approachability for safety concerns and taking urgent actions when needed.
- Performing other duties as necessary.
Bring Your Expertise:
- High school diploma or GED; Bachelor's in safety or related field, or 5 years safety leadership experience.
- Proven leadership and change management skills.
- Understanding of risk mitigation.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to train at all employee levels.
- Knowledge of OSHA and safety regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; MS Project experience preferred.
- Ability to maintain relationships with insurance, consultants, and officials.
- Experience with JSA and FMEA reviews.
- First aid and CPR certification.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to lift 25 pounds and perform physical activities related to the role.
