Tasks and Responsibilities

1. Assist in accomplishing department business goals.
2. Lead safety coordinator, safety team, emergency team, and implement safety improvements.
3. Conduct daily and weekly inspections of plant, equipment, and associate behaviors.
4. Ensure associate safety and environmental training is completed.
5. Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and other regulatory requirements.
6. Conduct safety, environmental training, ISO 14001 auditing, and training.
7. Maintain the Emergency Management System as part of ISO 14001.
8. Maintain state compliance as Radiation Safety Officer.
9. Ensure accuracy of safety and environmental record keeping.
10. Adhere to company budget for profitability and efficiency.
11. Meet legal and ethical obligations.

Additional Responsibilities

• Promote a safety-first attitude and ensure OSHA compliance.
• Coordinate safety and environmental repair activities.
• Maintain OSHA documentation and report incidents or accidents.
• Update and report environmental incidents to authorities.
• Train for ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and Radiation Safety Officer roles.
• Ensure safe and timely product shipment.
• Work towards overall safety, environmental, quality, delivery, and productivity goals.
• Prepare reports for management, customers, suppliers, and global teams.
• Present department information effectively in various settings.
