What You'll Get to Do

The Environmental, Health, & Safety Manager is responsible for leading and managing environmental, health, and safety processes, reporting to the Operations Manager.

This role is ideal for a self-starter and leader. As a key member of the Safety Team, this is an opportunity to develop a career with an industry leader.

Job responsibilities include:

1. Developing and implementing actions to foster a strong safety culture through employee engagement and support.
2. Coaching and guiding facility operational leaders and safety representatives on safety initiatives, providing practical solutions to achieve safety excellence.
3. Providing input on strategic safety processes, tools, and techniques to improve safety performance.
4. Developing and delivering training on machine safeguarding, risk assessments, ergonomics, industrial hygiene, hazardous energy control, and injury case management.
5. Collaborating with management to promote safety and continuous improvement.
6. Building and leading effective teams across various safety and environmental disciplines, ensuring they have the guidance, resources, and autonomy needed to succeed.

What We Are Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in safety, environment, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• At least 8 years of safety experience in an industrial manufacturing environment (e.g., steel, petrochemical, automotive, aviation, pulp & paper, material processing).
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) is a strong plus.
• Ability to interpret and apply governmental safety and environmental regulations (OSHA, EPA) to facility operations.

Salary range: $86,700 - $108,350 - $130,000
