Job summary

Paycom - ATS seeks a laboratory technician to perform analytical tests using various lab equipment and to test samples as required. You will accurately record results and follow Quality Practices and Guidelines, while maintaining clean work areas.

Qualifications include an Associate degree in a related science and 1+ year of lab experience; HPLC and GC experience are preferred. The role requires strong communication, teamwork, and overtime flexibility.

• Excellent communication skills suited to a wide variety of audiences in both written and verbal capacities.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot tables, formula functions, formatting).
• Must possess strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform analytical tests using lab equipment.
• Record test results accurately as required by Quality Practices and Guidelines.
• Maintain good laboratory housekeeping and ensure safe work practices.
• Communicate test results and complete paperwork as required.
• Collaborate with in‑house departments, laboratory, production, or quality control to meet goals; assist with lab consumables and reagents.
